We see the Elves and the Shoemaker, with “the scheme”, at Clapham and it is also totally free, which is always a bonus
We all sit on the floor. Ironically, it’s like being at school.
They all loved it. Even Tumble watched and was most upset when I turned her to face me, instead. So I ended up turning back again.
The show was a kind of one-man act (with occassional assistance from the sound effects guy) with puppets on a stage, which was in the shape of a giant upside down boot.
Afterwards, the kids can all go up and look at the puppets, props and stage. But none match the thrill of playing with the sound guy’s tinkly bells while simultaneously eating cake.
