It’s come to my attention that there is a certain parenting style that involves not saying “no” to your child. How on earth does that work?
“No” is one of my favourite words. I use it several times an hour, it’s such a versatile word. You can shout it, whisper it, punctuate it with frog-marching to the corner; there’s just so many different ways to say it – and so many different ways it can be ignored.
