I am quietly sitting at desk minding my own business when an unnaturally large beetle lands on my work, presumably from the air conditioning. There is much screaming and shrieking which more than drowns out the tantrum taking place upstairs.
I bat at it with some rolled up scrap paper which is woefully inadequate for the task in hand but don’t actually make contact with the beetle itself, for fear of making the beetle angry.
In the end, Hub appears, unable to ignore mounting hysteria and calmly deposits giant beetle in the garden.
