After the Christmas present unwrapping in the sitting room, we tell the children that there is one more present for them, but they have to go to the conservatory, since it wouldn’t fit in the sitting room.
All four troop out to the conservatory (which is freezing because we didn’t get a chance to put on the heating without drawing their attention to it)
There are four suitcases – one for each of the children.
Inside each suitcase is a A4 pictures of Disney, Universal and Seaworld and the villa we have booked for our holiday.
Scooter’s initial reaction was “oh, princesses” (or words to that effect). Tumble didn’t initially “register” at all. The best reaction was Pixie’s, who screamed in excitement.
Squiggle asked “What language do they speak in America” (honestly, we have done some geography) and Pixie’s answer was “American” *head desk*
Hub points out to Scooter that there is more than just Disney princesses .
As the penny drops, he is excited about there being a swimming pool, whilst Tumble is excited that the villa is yellow.
